Ray Sartain, CEO & Co-Founder

As the Chief Executive Officer, retired Army Colonel and co-founder of Tri-Kore, Ray brings over 40 years of combined military and federal civilian service and a legacy of leadership in logistics, aviation sustainment, acquisition, and program management. His expertise spans strategic planning, field execution, and enterprise-level transformation across the Army’s most critical sustainment and modernization missions.

Ray has held senior leadership positions within Army Materiel Command (AMC), Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC), and the Army National Guard (ARNG). He served as Military Deputy Director of AMCOM’s Field Support Directorate and Deputy Director of the Aviation Field Maintenance Directorate, where he led more than 2,500 contractors and 440 civilians across 35+ locations worldwide. He managed over $500 million in aviation maintenance, reset, and modification programs supporting platforms including the Apache, Black Hawk, Chinook, and Kiowa.

During his tenure with the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP), Ray oversaw more than 95 theater-level contracts valued at $5.4 billion and participated in source selection boards for multi-billion-dollar aviation and logistics procurements. He also led the development of the Army Aviation Rapid Deployment Equipment Program (AARDEP), which expanded global sustainment and expeditionary readiness.

As a Deputy Director and senior manager, Ray played a pivotal role in workforce resourcing and hiring. He directed recruitment, onboarding, and performance oversight for both military and civilian personnel, aligning staffing strategies with operational needs and organizational growth.

Ray holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is DAWIA Level III certified in Program Management. His leadership is defined by mission-first execution, operational discipline, and a proven ability to deliver results in complex, high-stakes environments—positioning Tri-Kore as a trusted force multiplier across the defense enterprise.
